| My mates and i are at stockton every weekend, satdy and sundy, and most of the people riding dont want to have anything to do with you!! what happened to saying 'G'day mate!' and having a yarn?? they just want to keep to themselves and ride solo!! theres a select few up there that will talk to ya. over the past month we have met 4 blokes who we ride with now. isnt that whats having quad and riding at stockton is about? meeting new people and having fun?? |

Its how i would of thought it should be , damn shame , maybe it s just a nsw thingy lol just a joke , but yes it is a sad thing , i love nothing more than to stop an have a chat.

I think it may be more of a quad thingy lol j/k... but us trikers are always more than happy to say G'day. Infact the first time i turned up there with my trike i didnt know a single person and i had a bunch of trikers askin me to join them. Now i never go riding by myself... we ride with quad riders too... if they can keep up!

Nope, "us" quadders see it too!!
You stop to say G'day and usually if the other bloke has a "better" bike you get short shift, we try to be friendly on the trail and always help when someone is having a bad day but some folks just seem to get their flash bikes and shun anyone who hasn't spent $15k or more (that's the way it seems to be down here anyhow).
It may now seem antisocial of me but it is somehow satisfying to see the wacker that was rude to you have a stack as he had the dollars to buy a cool ride but dosen't have the brains to be humble enough and admit they need to learn to ride like the rest of us (sorry, my evil side coming out there  )

It's a big city thing. People from Sydney, Newcastle etc. don't talk to strangers. You meet someone riding here in the bush and you stop and chat.
Car park at Stockton is snobville. I can count on my left hand how many times I've initiated a conversation and the people reciprocated. Don't get me wrong I've met some really friendly people at Stockton, but most are snobs.

I have only been to stocko twice.
The first time I ever rode my quad I got stuck at the top of the hill (comming from the carpark/dont laugh).
I was there for a few mins trying to move my fat kfx700 (I broke my rear grab bar)and before I know it I have couple of guys jump of their quads helping me out. A little thing like this made my day.

hey everyone i had sold my bike havnt been to stocko for months i always say hello to everyone i see there most of you that know me up there know im always up for a chat well good news i just bought my new bike so ill be there this saturday and sunday so hope to see a few of you guys up t5here this weekend

i used to ride the all black suzi ltr with the iron cross bumper
but now i got a white ltr still looking for bumper to fit on it lol
dont ask me why i swapped i got no idea but now i have some thing to build up again ill see you there if you come anyway i drive the silver triton dualcab my brother will be on a yellow suzuki if you spot us wave us down cheers
