noss domes have a much better combustion chamber design that have been designed by a two stroke expert with proper computer simulation software, Jim Smart at Passion Racing Engines.

not sure who did pro-design's stuff but pro-design definitely arent engine tuners so i hope it wasnt them.

i have seen two banshees with nearly identical set ups, one ran 19cc pro design domes the other ran 19cc noss domes. the pro design bike would detonate its arse off with bp98 in the tank, and eventually ruin the top end, where as the noss bike has been running for years with no signs of deto, one day we even put cats p1ss 91 octane fuel in it by mistake and it went all day no worries.

also pro-design heads you have to change the studs in the barrels to longer ones, whereas you dont need to with the noss, just another reason to get the noss.

pro design intake manifolds for the banshee are crap too.

clarkie you should sign up to be a member over on bansheehq.com, i think it costs $25 us or something, then you get a 10% discount from noss. pays off eventually coz he sells other good stuff as well. should have told you that before you bought the head i guess! sorry mate

ohh ok, see, i didnt know that lol. i was told that pro design was the one who invented the cool head for a banshee. i would have thought that the longer studs let it be a bigger head which would make more surface area which would make it cooler???

The NOSS heads are countersunk around the stud area. Not having to pull and disturb the original studs is a much better idea.

pro-design may have invented it, but noss perfected it!

what size domes do you have in your PD? the good news is that noss domes are interchangeable with PD ones so if worse comes to worst get some some 19cc noss domes ($65 us) and whack em in.

actually arent you talking about going to a stroker set up? make sure you get your domes from noss if you do.
