this is awesome guys, good to see heaps of interest in this weekend... thanks craig for posting this as i was havin internet troubles..... n yes i'll be there with my girly milky drinks..... it would be good to see a heap of juniors show up to prove that the sport is getting bigger and better...still no word on wether Rod Jenner is attending the weekend or not yet but wen i hear comformation u'll all no.... Postie i havent really seen the track yet but im guessin there might be a double in there somewhere and i know how much u like to try freestyle over these type of jumps but c if u can fight the urge to do so  ....

Maybe Postie could bring along his trusty 2 wheeled work ride and cut a few laps and we could set up some obstacle courses for him to see if he is a true postie or not

CT110 Unleashed time trials , I like it, I'm thinking Gate start, first corner , through the side walk cake sale over the driveway stutters , letterdrop, 100 m dash blue heeler chase, over dugout bmx double , letterdrop, around the corner and into head on ckicken with a Kenworth T650 swerving side to side, shoot off track around road train and back it into clover corner over drive way stutters , letterdrop
we may have to improvise but it could be done |

Well , I just got back from practice and 2 hours and 3 stitches later , the Blue Heeler got first blood, crazy mongrel came flying over the fence straight for me throat , lucky I got reflexes like a cat and blocked with a good forearm, got in a few good size 10's to the ribs though .
I think we could get a good cable tv spot for a sport like this , anyway back to work  |

hey everyone, just a few things.... firstly unfortunatly Rod Jenner has prior arrangments so he wont be attending the weekend, and for those of you who think this is just for MX riders your wrong.... if you hav any interest at all in riding a MX track you are more then welcome, we have a few different groups for example A,B,C and juniors this is so that people who have never been on a MX track get to ride together and not have to worry about gettin run over or intimidated by more expirienced riders, for all we care you dont have to get outta first gear. This weekend should be taken advantage of by all club members so long as you have all the correct safety gear ..... we would like to see a few more new comers to the MX track simply for a fun day......
Sign in is from 7.30am riding will begin at 8.30am and will finish at 4pm with 20 min sessions for each group.... so minimum riding time should be around the 1 1\2 to 2hrs depending on how well everyone organises themselves.... we have around the 16 - 17 riders at the moment , would like to double that hopefully.....

well this is a little dissapointing, only 18 people confirmed for next weekend at coolum, this wont even cover the costs of the track... People winge that they have no where to ride or practise, yet when a day like this is organised, outta the 100's of quads out there we are flat out getting 20 to a quad only practise. The sport will not progress if these days aren't supported..... To those that are comming we appreciate your comitment to the sport and promise you will have a fun weekend and will get plenty of ride time..... I understand that people have other comitments as do i on a lot of weekends where i would like to be supporting quad riders, i guess i thought we would get a few more numbers to a quad only day, maybe i set my expectations too high.... anyway i'm looking foward to it as it will be the first time in almost 8 months since i have ridden my bike, so could be a little rusty , probably best if no one rides near me... my luck i will be crashing out somewhere  .......
Another thing quickly , campin is available at the track at no extra cost, the coolum club are making us feel real welcome and have already approched me to hold a quad class in there club days, so thats good news.... Gates will be open earlie n sign on will start around 7, practise starting at 8..... QQRA meeting and BBQ at craig and lisa hinds place sat night.... hope to c more of u there

Yes thanks to Dan and others who have managed to make this practise day happen.
I am guessing numbers could be down based on the timing of this event. It is end of season for a lot of sports especially kids sports, so I would guestimate that a lot can't make it for this reason alone. No date will satisfy everyone...so will just have to make the best of it all. |

Looking forward to having a track packed by quads only again, no bike ruts to contend with
forecasting a shower of rain I heard Fri or Sat, a quick 10-20 mm would be good to see too. |

we need 20 to cover costs... n we hav got that so thats made me a bit happier... well the less the riders the more the ride time got a feelin u all will be wanting a lunch break anyway.. i no i will, its been a while, actually i think if i can get 4 laps in i'll be happy... the LBM Polaris team will be there to show of there style and im sure if you would like a few pointers they will be happy to help out
