The race RZR took very little sorting out after doing the 08 Finke.
No one told use the drive shafts are the weak link in the rear.
Purchased some Gorilla axles and job fixed.
When in the US I was talking to Polaris product and development manager and asked how to get some more top speed out of it.
One week after I returned I received transmission gear set in the post.
This gave us another 20km top speed and didn't lose any pull of the bottom.
The reason we built the RZR was over a $20 bet to race the Finke.
We all still laugh about now. Waiting on 2010, it's going to be good.
Yes Mick, you know I have a little problem with my eye sight at night.
Should go for a ride with Drea, that will bring water to your eyes. _________________ Thanks to

The new sport models are pretty trick too. We got one to use as a Kitten Car Care promo machine and to set up 47industries events. Much plusher suspension and wider so less prone to driving her upside down, not that it isn't still possible, hey Scooter?
Here is ours: http://www.47industries.com/kittenrzr.htm

Nice work when you can get it isnt it Mick!!
I was set on the skinnier one given trailering, as it turns out needing acustom of some sort I think its was now a non-issue but I would have struggled to make arguement for the hefty upgrade tag and didnt have one around either.
This one I had in my sites for over 12 months and knew exactly what i was paying before I even made my donkey offer.
They've got the H.O.motor but does it have the speed limiter like the std from last year? I obviously have to chip that out as it just cuts firing at 60mph. And wheres the turbo?
Everyone wants to pump 'em hard & I try and restrain onlookers from being armchair bandits. Cash up I say.
Sounds like a little dune work between SA & Vic later, would love to get the RZRs together and discuss the RZR club incorporation. Either that or a week at Stockton or in Tas on R licenses.
Maybe the inaugural event will be the Cape or the new Tas tours?
Get the Honda pilot boys and I guess Odysseys qualify too and start the SUV club. _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs

I was wondering if the guys with SUVs (SxS or Sports Utility Vehicles) would like to get together at either a ride like this, (There is rides now promoted at Cape York, WA, NSW and Tas) with the intentionof bringing everyones machinery out for a run and a look and also with the intention of forming the Australian SUV club or whatever we call it.
There is also the sandfest ride coming up on the Vic SA border where the NSW guys can get traight down the Freeway.Hwy to Adelaide on (see details in Vic section or havent checked SA section yet but 30th Oct to 3rd Nov - Melb cup w/e)
Can everyone post if they have such a machine and if they;d be interested? PM anyone you know to comment I'll start a thread.
Cheers guys _________________ www.asho.com.au for your shooting and outdoor needs
