On my 05 Grizzly it drops into 4WD all the time , this makes the steering very heavy. If I push the switch into 4WD and out of it it disengages but goes back in again . Nothing shows on the display . I've had it running with the back wheels in the air and it doesn't happen . I had to fix the spider gears as they were too tight compared to my sons bike . I machined the shims down a few thou as there was a lot of drag turning the RH front wheel . The switch works fine . Might have to pull some parts off my sons bike and try them one at a time .
Regards

After having the diff apart a few times I tried one of the cone washers around the other way and it now works a treat . Seems it was put in wrong from the start . When I refitted it i put it the way the wear marks indicated . It's that good now I don't need power steering , well maybe down the track.

I've ridden a few with power steering and would love to have it but the $$'s are not available ATM for an upgrade. After riding the 660 for a few years with the heavy steering I think I can put up with it for a bit longer.
