Watson to show off skills in home State
With only 6 weeks to go until the 2009 Yamaha Australian Quad Motocross Championships local rider Nathan Watson is gearing up for one of his best performances yet at a National Event.
“The Murray Bridge Track is a nice fast paced track with a couple of technical sections, which I think will be a great mix and will cause some great racing. Passing will be really great as the track is reasonably wide in some spots. I’m looking forward to the rhythm section as it is the spot where time can be gained/lost”, Watson Said.
I will be riding my Yamaha YFZ 450 in the Pro Class And my 2009 Yamaha YFZ 450R in the production class. For 2009 my sponsors are Yamaha Australia, Bridgeland Motorcycles and Austraco ATV Accessories.
Nathan recently finished 2nd place in the QRCV tri state series in the Expert Class, this would surely have been improved if it wasn’t for a few slow starts forcing him to have to work hard. In the local series Nathan is hot on the heels of 2001 Australian Champion Howard Reed and is getting quicker with each event.
I started riding quads when I was 13 but only started racing when I turned 16, quads are so different to any other sport which is one of the reasons I love riding them. I Have Howard Reed (2001 Aus Champion) to thank for getting where I am today with my racing, I have learnt many valuable things from him to improve my riding.
My goal is to make it to the top level of Australian ATV Racing.
The 2009 Yamaha Australian Quad Motocross Nationals will be held at the Monarto MX track, Princes Highway, Murray Bridge on the 19 & 20th September.
Gates open to the public from 8.30 am
Adults $10
Under 16years free

thats great, some more pros, maybe we might have a full grid at the nationals?
what happens if we have more than 20 in any class at these nationals as i am sure we will have in some classes. will there be qualifiers?

Well at this stage it wont matter coz no one except people from WA and a few others have entered, dont forget entries close on the 31st of August (less than 2 weeks) and late entries may not be accepted if the classes are already at max capacity. Get em in quick guys and girls..

nice one quad you need to make friends with the CAN AM team i hear that they have inside there CORCORD more cans of woop ass than Arnold
had girl Friends its in the Vic milk i think or is it strawberry's from the west who knows at least we have Pete's strawberries and cream here in SA if all else fails
eat well drive safely over have a pie floater in Adelaide come to the track crack a tinny of woop ass make a fool of your self dress up in a suit of some sort line up take the hole shot money off of the pro's go back to your trailer and do it all over / OPPS IVE JUST GIVEN YOU SOME ONES RACE PLAN !
any how hope to see you all there don't forget grids are filling up still plenty of old fart spots left if Lennie stays in pro's is Pete Willem's stepping up to expert too i heard man what a huge event
