There are quite a few parts here that will interest guys with just a regular banshee motor:

V Force 3 reeds (2 hours old) - $180
Boss 33/35 intake manifold (best manifold there is for the banshee) - $150
Keihin 35mm PWK Air Stryker Carbs - $280
4mm stroker crank (trued with extra weld) - $400
CPI SB Pipes and silencers - $600

thanks, mark

i have never ran the RZ with anything but V force, but on my normal motor, i switched from carbon tech reeds to the v force, and it made a good difference.

Mark, what kind of power was this putting down?
and have you got a dyno printout so we can all see the curve?

it made 58 point something horsepower before the stator sh*t itself on the dyno, which took the ignition out with it.

it was running 220 main jets at the time (biggest keihin make!). i had it so rich because i did not want to blow it up whilst setting up the ignition and power valve curves.

i didnt get a chance to lean it out, but i believe it could safely come down to around a 180 main jet, and i am confident it would make 65hp.

keep in mind this is all on a very conservative dyno dynamics dyno.

ps the stator has since been professionally repaired and re-wound, and the zeeltronic ignition replaced under warranty. neither have been used since.

pps i never bothered getting the dyno print out coz i was so damn cranky at the time!
