Hey all,

just got my new YFZ450R conditionally reg'd today. Prior to today I heard from people if you get pulled up by the parks ranger and u dont have rego u get done for no rego, insurence and no license (this guy was on a two wheeler). Which means goin to court and getting your car license suspended.

Because I got conditional rego now if the ranger pulled me up i wouldnt get fined for being in a national park, is this the correct understanding?? As there is no license catorgory for an ATV.

Thanks for the help on this subject guys.

I think you should ring the lisensing people and the parks people and find out for sure.

When you do find out, can you let everyone know. There is a lot of "I heard" "my mate recons" "I read somwhere"

In WA it is pretty cut and dry ==== not road registered = no national parks, no matter what!

it is conditional rego, the main condition is written permission from the road owner{private, parks, council or main roads} which you must carry a copy of.the other condition is permission from the police.with out letters you can only legaly unload ,load and cross roads. the councils being the difficult lot to convince[in my experience] to get the letter from.google conditional rego qld you should be able to study it your self.
