Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum and thought i would make my first post.

I have decided to bite the bullet and buy a new Quad and had pretty much set my sights on the 2009 Yamaha Grizzly 700FI SE (like the red), but I have just heard from the dealer that it will be three months before one would arrive in the country eek eek

He said he had checked around but there is none available, any of you guys know of a dealer that might have one stashed away???

Cheers

John

Thanks for the replies and PMs guys, i will def do some ringing around.

Hey GRIZZLY how good is your info about the 2010 models ???, if this is the case i may just hang on for one....

On a side note, the Kwaka dealership is putting the hard sell on me at the moment, so far 6 emails and about the same in phone calls, all i did was ask for the specs of the 750 King Quad...

Cheers

+1 to Earthmover, except my primary choice was a Kawa 750 Brute. But the dealer here in Townsville couldn't be bothered going out of their own way to even say hello, let alone sit down and talk turkey.

4 times I have been in and never spoken to once.

Did a little more research and found the Honda Rincon 680i doesn't have a belt drive, it's a gearbox. Yes it only has three gears but 1st is low enough to crawl / climb and Mud bog 27" Zilla's. 2nd gear get's you to about 65klm and 3rd pulls you straight to the limiter at around 115 klm.
So in my case I like to cross creeks and swim the bike, a belt was not a good option for me.

Head's up :- Quoted from a Honda site (America) The Honda Rincon 2012 model should be released with a 52" V-Twin 680cc !!

Craig.

The Can Am and Yamaha quads get released about the same time , will be realeased about september , from what i believe there are only about 20 se grizzly that come into Australia, so if you contact a high volume dealer you should be guaranteed one of them

Can-Am are starting to look like the favorites for receiving my dollars....
