did you use the proper fly wheel puller?

your best bet is probably to get your original stator repaired.

whatever you do dont buy a "Ricky Stator" stator. (aftermarket stator)

well you cant really stuff up an adjustable timing plate so theres nothing wrong with them...

if you have a look on bansheehq you will see every man and his dog who has bought a ricky stator stator has had it fail in a very short time. just find someone to repair your original stator. i got mine done for $150.

if you used a normal flywheel puller ( 3 jaw or whatever) you have probably f#&ked your flywheel... a little heat should have done the trick with the proper puller. dont forget to grease the threads and the tip of the crank.

have you got a haynes manual or similar?

the proper pulller was just stuffing up the end of the crank, i tryed abit of heat with the oxy but it just wasnt going to work. the flywheel is okay, ive checked it and its not warped or anything and the magnets not cracked. thanks for the help.

least if you've got no spark of your crank snaps from being out of balance you know what the problem is..

another tip when you've tightened the puller right up is to give it a sharp hit on the end, the shock normally gets it off

thats what me and my boss ended up doing. we used our bar and hammer and gave it a few big hits and it came off. Yes, that should tell me its out of balance lol.
