Hi i have a little issue, i rode my quad for the 1st time in 2 weeks, 1st time no problems all was ok, i usually start it every few days, starts 1st go no probs even with out choke, though yesterday i started it i let it warm up took it for a ride, the quad didnt want to go, flames were coming out at top acceleration, if i let the quad idle its fine, though when i rev it its popping like a mis fire, is that from the spark plug or is it a timing problem or is it a mixture problem, as i said 1st time wasnt an issue, i took the plug out, it was very black, after that it wouldnt start again, kick or ignition.

| Check to see if the main jet has fell out of place. Take off the carb float bowl and see if its sitting in the bottom. |

the bowl is the bottom part of the Carb, the main jet should be the lowest part hanging down from the main body of the carb (other than the float) and will either be round with a slot in it for a screw driver or hexagonal for a small socket or spanner.

took carby out, looks ok, its cranking over ok but no spark, so i'm assuming 3 things, cdi, which i have changed no luck, 2 the ignition coil is a huge possibility, or 3 the magneto, which one hp it likely to be. Where the cdi is there's another black square box next to it, its not the voltage overload but another with a rubber holder, any ideas? Any way i can test the coil at home? From the look of it. Its earthed to the chasis and then theses a male to female connector, is that the possitive or is it all negative. Any help on there few things thanks.
