I found the details for this place on the web and gave the guy a call to ask about quads and dogs up there which was all fine, then I got the half hour talk about yowies.

Guy seems a bit strange and it put me off going up there for a weekend with my wife and another mate with his missus.

My F-truck is only 2WD. Will I have problems getting it to the camping area?

Apparently its pretty rough up there any some people reccomend full bike armour. Im not sure but i think there is a bit of a river to cross to get to the camping area that you need a 4x4 to cross, one of the guys that have been up there should be able to tell you

hmm seems there are some conflicting reports about how good/bad the place is.

I've been trying to find places I can get some decent length rides in at. Have been doing Buladelah rides with a quad tour group which has been great, but wouldn't mind riding some other trails.

Dont waste your time with this place. A couple of trails that are full of rocks the size of houses. There is a little track for the kids where you camp. But thats it. If you have a 4wd quad it would be ok. But otherwise forget it.

Dont get me wrong would be a good place for a camp and just take the kids bikes. Good get away for a non ride weekend.

Hope that helps

I went there on saturday, its pretty cool, we rode the whole place twice in about 3 hours or so. Had to convince the guy to let me come, apparently there have been plenty of dickheads goin out there doing everything they can to get everyone banned by being fools and dangerous.
which i agree with when a bunch of guys turned up in 4x4s and chased a goanna up a tree, then threw rocks at it, then broke the branch so it fell onto the rocks... wtf fags?

also, anyone who says its un-ridable, clearly cant ride, i did NO damage to either of my 450's and i went up and down EVERY track there, sure there were some rocks, but thats what happens on TRAIL rides, go to the sand expecting dunes, go trails expecting rocks. sweet place tho. i recommend it

so if you wanna go, call him first. but turn up to have a good ride, not to be a (really nice person) or the guy who owns the place who also owns guns, will be there to escort you to a pre-dug ditch.[/img]
