its good to wash ur quad every know and then and also change the air filter, the oil e.t.c.

Yeah i wash it every few rides or depending how muddy it is, and wash the air filter every couple rides as its heaps dusty and muddy here. _________________ banshee |

My ATV collection is all 1980's model machines and still in perfect condition,if you dont do the maintance your machine it will go downhill real fast,cleaning and re-oiling the air filter on a regular basis is must for your engines protection.

go aussie with the 80s collection ,you must be having a mid-life chrisis or sum thing im not givin u "profanity removed" or nothing cos i have a 88 cr250 mx-er that fu**en flies it smacks my mates cr500 round my back yard track

I love my 80's ATV's Luke,they are still running as strong as they were back in the day and they all look real pretty,mate im after a CR500 motor if you know of any i want to build an ATC500r for draging !

| johnny i dont know what type of filter you have but if its a paper one water will kill it if its a foam one you can wash it in hot soapy water then rinse it with fresh water or you can use metho for first rinse then water again ,, if you have the paper one just bang it out till all the dust is gone or buy a replacement one or even better get an aftermarket foam one this will last you ages ,, also its important to oil a foam filter with filter oil wich you can get from your bike shop cheers |
