Well if you have a friend (not me)in NT,you can buy fireworks tomorrow only. Like they're going crazy with them outside right now. You can buy bags from $200 to $5000 . Wednesday is pretty wild sorta like a war zone I believe. Laughing Laughing

Theres 2 thing I miss about not living in Darwin anymore
1. Crackers and dry grass thats knee high = Big Fires
2. The smell of scorched clothing and flesh when you dont get away fast enough before the cracker goes off

oh crap just remembered Fusion fireworkers were suppose to demo all their styles tonight at 7pm in town. Just to see whats on offer...

But in the real world I'll do the normal- buy $20 of little ones (10 for $2 etc) and sit out the front on the footpath - takes about 40 minutes to blow 20 bucks of little fireflys, bees, butterflies, etc. Meanwhile the neighbours get these real specatular $100 a shot ones and these boxes 1 fuse = 25 bangs - isn't it great when 4 bachelors live next door Smile

Heard on the news it was a good night, only a few fires and an evacuation of a building in Alice springs, but on a sad note a young baby was seriously burned on the back by a wayward rocket

only one drama here

in a set of duplex - one lot went out and the others were setting off a couple - one landed in the long grass in the other yard and started a fire.
They couldnt get into the yard or hose the fire out because their neighbours had it all locked up... eek so the police and firefighters were called and their pretty lights added to the party atmosphere.

kids were all in bed by 9.30 and with the doors/windows closed and air cons on sleeped really well Smile
