I was chatting to a guy at Kurry Kurry mx club ,it has a 100 year lease of the goverement ,quads are welcome $100 a years ,or ride with a member for free.
They have quite a few quad members ,
Mabe even let you guys run a drag race ,
they have a meeting once a month in kurry kurry ,
Does anyone no any more ?
Seems like a good op to get some racing going ?

I dont live too far from Kurri but i didnt know they had a speedway track. I used to race flattrack as a junior out there behind the smelter, is that the track your thinking about? There used to be a speedway out that way at Heddon Greta many years ago but i think thats gone.

I just spent the last three days about 5 mins off the F3 freeway Cardiff exit towards Kurri - there's nowhere there that is legal to ride anywhere near that from what I've seen over the years. In fact, the areas used till recently are on a landholding that has just been sold and the new owner is very actively working with the police and also prosecuting people privately for trespassing. He has said he wants to make an example of anyone he can to make sure riders stop going there.

The area where Kurri (Hedon Greta) speedway was is now houses - I happened to drive past it yesterday.

Do you know how long this track is supposed to have been around?
