I tried reading up on the paper work with riding on stockton. A bit confusing!. I don't live near newy and was thinking bout doin a trip there. Tell me if I got this right. U need to get plates to ride there ? u cant just get a day pass to go there 4 a day? Cause I don't wanna waste money on getting plates 4 me bike when ill only go there like once a year or so.

thats right, you need rec rego to ride there. You get it from the RTA. Your cheapest option is to get a 1/4 year rego which is about $140.

you also need a beach permit which you can get for about $10 for the weekend from the servo just near the beach. it does cost a bit of money to ride up there but its well worth it, i dont reckon youd find a better sand pit in oz to ride on. if you have a bit of a sniff around in the nsw section youll see a heap more info there.
