We all know KTM's are best on the Planet . While doing some leg work for TQA a deal has risen from Yamaha for our club . Myself and my family(no secert I would be buying a number of yamahas) and really good support for 12 of our best riders in NT and support for our riders who want to stick to other brands.
This year I have no sponsorship at all. Out of loyalty to Polaris for the previous years we have stuck with them. But when Nick Kitchen from Polaris won't return your calls I have started to read all the fine print on other offers.
So my question is How good is the 09 450? I need to know what problems are you having(pm me if you like)
Who in OZ does the most race work on these things.
The deal will include bringing world class riders to NT likes of Bill Ballance and sending a Young rider to USA each year for a couple of races.
Are Yamaha best of all time?

hi husky, i am 18 and am racing a stock standard 09 yamaha yfz450r this year thanks to yamaha australia and bridgeland motorcycles. and it is the best machine i have ridden so far. compared to the old yfz450 models, the new 09 feels much lighter to ride. the fuel injection is awesome, and personally, when set up correctly.. the shocks are better than the ohlins and elkas i have had on previous bikes. i am running without a pipe, damper or anything and ran mid pack in the expert class yesterday at round 2 of the tri states. apparently the yfz450r gets much better power out of it with a gytr pipe and jetted accordingly. i havent had any problems with mine so far.
hope this helps husky,
cheers Nathan, SA _________________ Triple A Racing
