| these are the places that I have been told are holding them from our last club meting not sure which date goes with which venue. Mundubbera,Kingaroy ( hooks place the best by far) Hervey Bay I've been told and our club herd tivoli dont no how true that is looks like only a 4 round series this year will find out from our meeting to night |

hopefully we [kingaroy] get the round in august. for those that have have been before, bigger and better. the track will be run in the opposite direction, with the start going up the hill and a chink in the back straight. a huge amount of work has been done to the track to make it what we reckon terrific, technical, a fare haul in places and fast in others. anyone can ride this track and enjoy it and hopefully will be planted to oats again as previously about 2k's round. bar, bbq,hot showers,bike wash, camping and more.would be sensational to get a grid of more than 20 quads, but not just to this round, but all the others that put in for the other rounds. part of the thunder x track will be used for the quads only enduro event to be held towards the end of the year so come and have a go!

It's not to often quad riders are catered for to such extent , this is the real backbone of Qld Quadsport right here 
Yet we can't commit to soon , so far this season has gone pear shaped , although we will do what we can to support this event .
I could not agree with you more regarding getting a grid of more than 20 to the Thunder X this year, it would be a fair reward in itself ! |

Ah guys, isn't it a maximum grid of 20 quads???
I'm hoping to be at all the rounds this year. Any news which round is where yet????

You are correct my Madman friend , and once it exceeds 20 entries they have 2 choices reject nominations and turn people away or seperate into 2 classes, preference should go to a ladies class first ( the Gentleman approach) or Pro/ Clubman .
If the organizer is interested in profit and growth from extra entries , I suspect they would choose the latter, which in turn benifits Qld quadsport and the organizer , then everybody's happy 
I see little benefit in the first option if that happened out to be the case 
Still, this is just my circumstantial hypothesis . |

trying hard to turn this com from 4 rounds to 5 for you guys, by putting our hand up for 2 rounds, split rounds or 2 0n the same weekend, how good could that be, track has had rain , been planted to oats as last couple of years and off to a great start. if mq is receptive to the idea we'll run one round in the opposite direction and the other the same as previous years. what we want for this series [which has 10 classes, 9 for bikes and 1 for quads, is for more than 20 quads to nominate, how good would that be!

21st June: Hervey Bay
19th July: Mundubbera
16th August: Kingaroy
13th Sep: not known yet

breaking news.----opened the mail from mq and we have a calendar listing race dates,
june 21 rd 1 hervey bay
july 19 rd 2 mundubbera
august 16 rd 3 kingaroy
september 13 rd 4 beaudesert
october 18 rd 5 kingaroy
these are all tbc , but at least it looks like 5 rounds are possible, hopefully will hear more in the coming weeks

First 3 rounds of the Thunder X look good but the last 2 fall on the same weekend as CQ number 1 Plate or the last round of CH.

trust you have all seen the dates for thunder x on the mqld site looks like most rounds are the same , kingaroy is to have 2 rounds ,august 16 and september 27 . good to see hervey bay first off the rank, always a great hit out,[ the racings pretty good too ] munduberra 2nd, very physical, especially trying to get leon to bed on the saturday night, kingaroy 3rd ,track reversed from the past 3 years with a bit of a challenge up the hill ,new hat in the ring for round 4 beaudesert, don't know anything about it but sure glad they are holding a round, round 5 back at kingaroy with the track run the same as the past 3 years, with a few changes to the track. looking forward to it all as will be back from finke and straight into thunder x with my bike [yep thats correct my bike] run in
