I bought a size L One Industries helmet mid last year but quickly found it is too small, it gives me a headache. 
So I shopped around for an XL in the same brand at a good price because I like the shape and venting and colours.
I found one at a bike shop going cheap because the new colours were coming in. 
After wearing it a few times it seems to slip around. 
I went back to the shop and asked if there were different size cheek pads or liners I could buy and the guys tell me that in most brands all the helmets are the same size it's only the liner thickness that varies!!! And yes you can buy the liner or cheek pads.
WELL THANKS A LOT YOU BASTARDS !!! 
So, I just thought I would pass that on in case anyone else has the same trouble.
