oooh this is gunna cause a stir, most of the 450's have their own postive and negative points about them. Alot of the new 450's are becoming more and more race ready coming standard with wide a-arms, longer travel shocks , and mx tyres on them. But some of these such as the ktm start getting more expensive as they come with most of the bits you'll have to buy for the other bikes on them already. The suzuki lt-r450 comes standard with wide a-arms and decent shocks capable of handling the needs of most riders and the efi on the lt-r produces nice smooth power. The new yfz450r comes with wide a-arms, decent shocks and aluminum frame. Can am has brought out 2 450's this year with the xc model and mx model. I'd say honda is the most behind coming with a fairly average set up in comparison to the others. It basically comes down to your budget and what sort of riding that you will be doing.

For the $ the yfz 450 is the go around $6000 for 06 model and up.

if you go honda 450 start at 4000 but not many people have them now .

kawka 450 good thing but only 5 quads around. about $7500

ltr 450 $ 6000 to $8500

can an good thing about $8000

ktm rare $14000 to 17000

my choice for the $ yfz 450 and for parts
