the new bike shop in maitland has one of these in there, isaw it about a month ago and it actually looked ok, reasonably well built and i'm sure it was a five speed not four. Then old mate told meit was $8500 and he tried to tell me it would do 140kph and was quicker than a yfz450 so i promptly left.

I sat on that same bike. Ol' mate at the shop asked if i wanted to start it up.... i didnt have the heart to tell him id been drinking at the pub across the road and was drunk and killing time till Dad arrived to drive me home.  I remember how much trouble my uncle had getting parts for his Subaru vehicle so i can only imagine the response ringing Norm Frasers/ Maitland Motorcycles or Graham Boyd and asking for a Subaru thingamajig for my quad.

I have no doubt he was telling you the truth when he said it would do 140kph, he forget to mention it would only do that when its on the back of your ute and its doing 140kph, and yes it would beat a yfz 450 but only under certain circumstances like. the yfz wasn't moving.  |
