for those who realise 24/11/06 is history here's a post relating to 30/12/06

venue is gillman speedway wilkins rd gillman

normally gates will be open at 5.00pm for riders, rider sign in should be done by 1 hour prior to race start, rider brief usually at 7.15pm and racing starts at 7.30pm. i will post any changes to this as they come available.

here are the list of riders that have indicated they'd like to ride at gillman on the 30th dec 06. as you can see there are 15 names. maximum is 15
if your name isnt on the list and you wish to ride now's the time to let me know so i can try to get the maximum increased. similarly, if i've stuffed up and put you down and you cant make it let me know also.

Hi,
I am interested in the speedway event, what is the cost to enter as a rider?
When is practice available, and are there any classes?

hi pete
the cost is variable depending on the level of meeting. some events have been a total of $20 others $25. a senior national licence is required as all meetings at gillman during summer are open events so there's no day licences allowed. practice days are only held during winter unfortunately and are on the first sunday of the month commencing in april i think. i'll need to confirm this for 2007 however
