hey mick how the hells that work ??
he won state titles in expert and series but can stay in expert what the hell ?????/ i got 3rd overall in vic series 2nd in state title and 5th in tristate in clubmen and i have to move up to expert whats with that thought top 3 have to move up a class??????????

don't know anything about it. there were only 2 in expert at the vic titles so you should of entered and then you would be in pro if that rule existed.

It might be because the 'Expert' class should be called 'Intermediate'.
Meaning Experinced riders, but not Pro's.
You're a good, very experienced rider OZ, so you have earnt a step up, like it or not 
I hope 2009 sees a big wave of new Clubbies coming to the sport.
And in 2010...
You'll have to try and keep at least 3 more new 'intermediates' behind you

as far as i know there are no rules from MA stating what class you should run. besides at club level which would be state specific, i.e QRCV mite grade you on your results and put you up a class. but if you want to run clubman at the Qld titles or other races, there is no reason why you can't try?
Boothy is not a pro yet he is a good vet and a good expert rider. he wants to do well this year and move to pro next year.

| hey bullet heard a rumour on the weekend that sa snr production rules for the nats in sept are going to differ from rules set by vic & wa. is there any truth in that .????????????? |

I'm not the one to answer that question, but I do believe the Nationals Committee are looking at the SA Production rules.
They have been for quite some time now, and I am sure the right people are on the job and are considering every possibility from all over the country.
There are probably only 1000 differing opinions, so selecting new or revised rules is a big step that needs careful decision for the future of the Senior Production class.
You can bet most riders won't be happy with every single little part of any new rules...
but I am sure any changes will only be made in the best interests of our sport.
No doubt we'll all hear soon
