Hi all, i purchased a 2001 yamaha Banshee YFZ350N about 6 weeks ago, I had never rode a fast quad before or even new anything about them, my first impressions after a quick test ride was wholly crap this has an awsome powerband & loves to be rev'd.
The rear tyres were hadit so put on a set of maxxis raza 22/11x9 6 ply, they really bite in. The front linkages & swingarm bushes & bearings were totaly flogged out, the swingarm had no bearings left at all, only the bush getting a total reshape.
The front linkages bolted in fine but the swing arm still had side play, so i take it that the frame was stretched a bit from the previous side play, so out with the electric rattal gun, worked a treat there was no way that i was going to get it with spanners, no play now laughing .
I have ordered a chain breaker for the Oring chain, its nearly at the full adjustment, the spockets are in good order still so i'll get few more plays out of it yet.
My Banshee is still stock so i will be keen to read through the forums & get the right advice & where to purchase my bike bits & so on.

Cheers Gary.
