First year model was orange. All the rest were red except for a blue model available only as a dealer limited edition.

ATC 70cc is what both our kids started out on... man i still remember when they needed us on the back of them to teach them how to ride ! and when they had enough... we went for a blap on them ! Pretty easy to sell, i think we had a 1976 and a 1986.

Thanks for putting them up ,we used to race with trikes from 85 to 87 and at one time we had a total of 30 in one race at Claremont speedway, awsome fun.You can see a young and skinny Ant Yewers on 22 and possibly the First Quad Race in Australia dated 5-5-85 at Chidlow MX Track ! No Nurfs,Baloon Tyres on Gravel Hard Pak! Laughing The craziest time was when all the quad Guys Swapped with the trike guys and had a race ,Mayhem !

Great pics Len, love the old school and the mullets. Did they have a National series back then? Also I remember an Aussie Moto-X calendar from 1988 (I think) and one of the pics was a guy on an LT 250 doing a jump, any ideas who the rider may be? Just curious

Not sure about the Calender shot ,would have to see it,but the Mullett is owned by Ant Yewers :lol(Sorry Ant!): Suzuki (They were the only Quads out then !) The guy whering his quad as a Hat was a victim of racing with no nurf bars at Ellenbrook Speedway,so being fed wheels was a common occurance! Russel SpeekOn a Kwaka Trike Tecate,he was the Australian Champion and leading the Quads at AJS (Top LH Photo).State Rounds of MX at Wanneroo AJS,Bunbury,Coastal,Beverly... and at Ellenbrook Speedway ,There was an Official Australian Titles ATC Race at Lancelin Via WABBA.

I don't own the Tecate. I have owned over 120 trikes. Right now the collection is down to 13.

I don't own the Tecate, but I have owned over 120 trikes including Tecates. Right now the collection is down to 13. Talking to Col Thomas at Moree and he tells me they were racing LT's in February 1985.

Now thats a 70 photo Aussie.
I'm buggered if I know how to put pics on this thing, but I have got some beauties.
Quite a few old ones too.
A group of us got into the 70's around 1984.
If only trike soccer made it to the olympics.

Still need to sell my 70 if you know anyone.
