Whats the best dunes in QLD..... I`m taking my boy to the Gold coast for holidays and wouldn`t mind having a go in the sand.

I`ve tried our local Boral(cement) but ten foot piles of sand doesn`t cut it.

Do you absolutely need paddles for this?

I'm in Bundaberg which is about four hours north of Brisbane and theres a place here Called Kinkuna national park. It's a good little spot. There's no dunes there to compete with stockton or anything like that put theres plenty of little pits you can definately have some fun in... And if that gets boring you can go for a cruise along the ocean...

All the decent dunes are now out of bounds for quads and trikes at stockton now, So no need to be envious of stockton.

I think questions would be asked as soon as you boarded the barge to Fraser with a quad in tow.

Remember we don't know who else other than quaders read this forum. Ranger might like to have a bit of a look. You never know.
Not saying anyone is going to go over ride there when they aren't ment to. Just a reminder. Smile

Fraser Island would pretty much have your nuts fried up to feed the Dingoes.... But there's certain criteria you can meet to ride on Moreton. Think you have to be a land owner over there or get written permission from someone who is or something like that

the best places to ride are illegal, and they let 4wd's in there, but which vehicle causes more damage to the land, a 4wd, or a quad.....

regards, q0d

Very Happy
