Hi all, Chris Woodhouse here, aka Woody. Been trail riding all my life but have stopped riding on the road due to increase in 4x4 soccer mums. Involved in classic rally and off-road since early '80s as official and driver. Build most of my own stuff on a budget, do it for the fun mostly.
Have been bugging Octagon to allow quads into the Aust Safari for years and now they have it's time I bought a quad and make good my threats. I prefer 4 wheels and open air, so quad is a good option. Like riding them too but am green on expereince really. Make up for lack of skill with bravery (sorry, stupidity).  I only do long distance stuff, not too keen to get my feet too much off the ground.
Live in Bris Vegas and unsure of the scene around. Any advice more than welcome. Would love to go to a meet up this way. Happy to join a club too. Any suggestions?
