Rec rego boys, were the hell is it? The vic quad club has been workin on this since at least 2001 with no luck so far...... Why can't we put some pressure on these bozos (Government), where's all the noise team? I pay enough tax to be allowed to ride my quad down a dirt road for christ sake! If you can take a beat up 1979 dirt bike into a forest what is the problem with my +13K Quad?

Well I have to pay $405 for tac cover on private land now ????? what a load of crap. The boys at the QRCV are doing a great job, they know who they are and will deserve a major pat on the back when its all over. But for the record but your right we need to make these buggers at the very least know we are here waiting, can some one supply a postal address, email and phone number to remind these chaps that enough is enough.

If you agree that the government is giving us the raw deal over rec rego, let your feelings known boys. I'm just wondering If I'm one only of two blokes in australia that feels this way?

Vic is not alone, nsw you can only ride on stockton beach, and for the price to get the rego i cannot justify buying it to ride in one spot.

Bit of a joke really

The Vic government is not draging their chain........; their totally against all recreational vehicles being used off-road. They tried to ban all 4WD's and horses from state forest so why would they allow ATV's more rights than they have now.....they won't.

Your absolutly right.

But you forget that we are the knuckleheads who vote these clowns in and were too apathetic to tell them what we want. They don't own the bloody land All Australians do don't they?

Its OK for property developers to buy up vast tracts of land, with council approval, then bulldose everything in sight then sell of each bit at absurd prices. But heaven forbid you and some of your mates dare to ride an ATV down a fire break on the weekend.

I bet most ATV owners would jump at a place to go riding legaly. Look at Stockton in NSW, look at Lancelin and Gnangara pines in WA. These places are constantly full of riders and the government can make money selling REGO to go there. I can't understand why there isn't more places to go like that.

Heaps of blokes are just happy to risk it and ride on any bit of secluded land. I say good luck to them, but one $300 dollar fine soon messes up your day. It is totally wrong of our Government to charge people for riding on government land when they do absolutly nothing towards giving us legal places to ride.

Where I live The Albury/Wodonga council helps out the local MX and Dirttrack and I can't praise them enough for that, but there is a large population of social riders out there who will unfortunatly never go to a track. There is nothing out ther for them.

If I knew who in government is responsible for this type of thing I'd give em an earful.

If I had the money I'd open my own riding area!
