just curious to know if its common practice for a yamaha dealers to give me a totaly differant price on gytr accessories than what is on the yamaha web site .... i know that yamaha site is only a suggested retail and that there could be shipping costs to the shop but .........

in the first shop .....
the item i asked about was $250 more on Friday and the same Item $100 more on Saturday ...

In the second shop the price was almost Double .....

are they just trying to rip me off and should i try another Yamaha dealer???

Nothing wrong with GYTR stuff, their quality & fit is second to none. Are you looking at the Australia Yamaha site or the US?

If it's the Aussie one explain to the dealer the price discrepancy between their price and the website and see how you go. If that fails and your determined for GYTR, find a dealer in the States that ships overseas. I know a few if that's the way you want to go.

Or secondly do as yogie mentioned and go aftermarket. They are generally cheaper and there's heaps of suppliers in Oz or the States.

What specifically were you looking for?

Tell me what you were looking at and I'll visit my local Yamaha dealer and get a price.
