G'day all, I have just joined and want to pick some brains on a problem I'm having with my k5 700 kingquad efi,
When I start it up cold it runs like it's lean, it will stall if I try and give it any throttle until it warms up, I changed plugs, give it a service, checked the fuel filter, aircleaner ect and none made any differance, I am running some injector cleaner in atm to see how that goes, I suspect that it's a sensor somewhere that gives a rich mix when cold isn't working? the problem seems to get worse as the fueltank level gets lower as well? any ideas? cheers _________________ 'how do you make so many mistakes in one day? ok, was just chatting to a bloke that said to check the valve clearance, reckons it is common on the suzuki's to have that problem when cold? bit tight on the inlet? thoughts? _________________ 'how do you make so many mistakes in one day? (I get up early!)

| check battery voltage or test running with a jumper battery connected, as soon as the battery gets down a squeeze [ even though it seems ok ] they sometimes play up when cold. |

I had a check of the battery/running voltage and that was fine, looked up nyroc and found some info on there, run a ecu test and found out the throttle position sensor was slightly out of adjustment (showing up as low on the dash readout) it is only like this if tested cold , tests fine if checked hot, I will look into that one a bit more and see if that fixs it. thanks again _________________ 'how do you make so many mistakes in one day?
