G'day guys im new here but far from novice riding quads.
Learned on a 2000 model Blaster which was bought from new and modded along the way, sporting Dominator tires, full FMF exhaust and tuned to match. The thing went really really well but unfortunately had to sell recently so i aint riding anything at the moment.
Really keen on getting myself a Banshee or a YFZ450.

Ok, now to my question, whats the go with getting rec reg for atv's in Victoria, ive heard of some with it but was under the impression you couldnt do it. Where can you ride and where cant you ride. Seems like no-one thinks much of these things.

G'day ANGRY6, this is a big problem in our state of Victoria. There are groups of people that love there trail riding however are forced to run the risk of using PUBLIC land illegally. Our govt. that happily collects taxes etc from sales of ATV's currently do not allow any recreational riding on public land and provide absolutely no options than for people to race MX on a competition basis or ride illegally on public land. This is a long standing issue , many people simply choose to ride illegally but there is slowly a growing number of people asking the ?, what do we have to do for our chosen recreational activities to acknowledged by govt. bodies and be provided for appropriately. Personally i beleive that a united front through a well organised group representative of trail ATV intrests is the way to go about this. Currently there is some talk on QRCV site about this and i think it would be great if people could show there support for rec.riding in Victoria.
Cheers Deano
