Hi All,

I've looking but not having much luck finding some shops in Tas dealing in aftermarket accessories, etc. At the very least, I need some new front tyres, but also looking for a front mount cargo box and rear tray 'extender' (just want some sides for the rear rack). Also keen on a decent front bumper/guard, maybe even a winch?

Failing anything local - best places on the mainland (factoring freight in).

My ATV is an 2005 Polaris Magnum 300 2x4.

Thanks for any help :)

Cheers

Heh. More money would be good... this year has been very expensive, bought the property here, Landcruiser, Skyline (now for sale due to location), and all the other stuff needed for a household and rural property.

I'll certainly check out Shane's site, thanks Hudson.

Thanks Dan. Yep, know all about Loones - its where I bought the Polaris from 2 weeks ago :). Even though I was braced for high prices for genuine Polaris accessories, I wasn't ready for approx. $650 just for the genuine front mounted cargo box!

So now I'm exploring aftermarket options, or even 2nd hand would suit me fine. Seems like there is no shortage of good/cheap aftermarket gear in the U.S though.

Cheers

Just an update.

Last week I was going to give up and have any suitable front tyres fitted (as they were literally bald), only to find a tyre place at St Leonards (TAS) who could get the Bear Claws, could tell me that their supplier had the appropriate sizes in stock, and could tell me the prices! This was something I couldn't get a straight answer from anyone, up until now...

Went up a size to 25" at the rear, I was a little concerned this may badly affect low speed power, but a quick run up the never ending hill near here has confirmed no appreciable loss of speed when climbing it.

I guess top speed will now be slightly higher as well.

I paid $135 for the fronts, $145 for the rears.

Edit: Might as well throw in a piccie: [/img]
