| My mates got an 01 stock banshee and we swapped the thumb throttle i got on mine with the twist throttle he has on his and we did all that and put it back togethor, mine works fine but his as soon as it starts just goes straight to max revs as if the throttle is stuck open... i dont think it is the throttle cables fault because i loosened it right off and it has heaps of slack and when i pull the throttle cable i can hear in the carbys them opening and shutting so i think it might b something in the carbys i didnt put back togethor propperly.. plz help |

| I think you have the slides in back to front . Take the airbox boots off and make sure the slides are all the way down. There should only be about 1mm gap from the bottom. The cut away in the slides should be facing the airbox, if not they are in backwards. Otherwise check to make sure one of the cables has not pulled out of the cable splitter and is holding one of the slides open. |
