| i would say a honda 400 because it has some power. The motor would be one of the last things to brake( which i have heard from heaps of people). It is just good all round quad fro trails or mx. I have one i use it off mx. |

What do both of you ride? Does she enjoy riding your quads? If so, maybe get something similar to yours. All those quads you mentioned are good and reliable and won't get her into trouble. I'd have to agree with Quadromatic, a 400EX or even a Suzuki or Kawasaki 400 would be a great choice. All have reverse and plenty of power for a trail rider.
My wife has a 250EX and loves it. It's not fast by any means but she can ride it all day at Stockton without any issues going up the dunes. _________________ Don't close your eyes during the crash, you'll miss the best part |

My partner has the scrambler 500 4x4, she loves it, its a heavy bike thats why the 500 isnt such a huge amount for her to handle but it does go hard regardless. _________________ 2005 KFX700

check out the Polaris Trailblazer 330, similar looking to the scrambler but lighter & 2 whl drive, also a CVT trans if she prefers auto. I think new RRP is about $6500.

| I"m no doubt gonna upset some people by saying this but from what i have been reading, these new cobra 350's that have just started coming into the country ( I think they're made by aeon or something) are supposed to be a pretty good all rounder and a fun family bike.... cant say I've ever ridden one though but there supposed to be excellent value for money |

What can I say Buzz, as usual I blazed the trail for you, so you get the easy ride.
The Phoenix is an easy fix just waitin for parts on order, might even lash on a CDI & clutch kit while it's apart. The thing's taken a beating over the last coupla years.

Aeon also make the Polaris Phoenix mentioned above so build quality is pretty good, theres a good review in the latest ATVA mag that's worth a read.
cheers....

| What about a Z250, great first quad and not daunting to use. auto clutch, shaft, not chain to worry about, reverse, reliable and high quality finish. May not be everyones cup of tea, but always seems to get good reviews for what its designed for. AND its doesnt come out of China. |

go yogies way or get something faster than yours.
I had a banshee and a king quad. but i still liked my dads old sportman best - no gears so i got a scrambler cause it was sportie looking but 4x4. the auto meant point and go and it didn't have the unreliable power of the 2 stroke banshee which kept climbing trees whenever i went near it. a scrambler like mine 06 are about 5-6000 now. new it was10000. other wise get something faster than yours - just because it's got potential doesn't mean she will apply it. last thing she will want is to eat your dust all the time - very bad for relationships _________________ Family is most important.... next is our quads |

Oh and yogie have you given your wife a polaris hat yet? If not perhaps you might win a brownie point by putting one under the christmas tree.... _________________ Family is most important.... next is our quads |
