Damn that's expensive. I thought that $140 for Qld cond. rego was alot. Although NSW does have Stockton!!!!! It is more than a fair trade off !! _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

Thats how much mine was, and a few other guys i know
hadnt heard of it being more
your supposed to also get a $30 annual beach permit to
its pretty expensive for the restricted area of use, but its nice to be able to ride somewhere without worrying about being caught _________________ 08 |

The price might be a bit steep but you guys down in NSW have a great sandpit there at Stocko. Id pay double that each year just to have a playground like that.
Can you still get a weekend beach permit and use your qld rego like in the past . Id live to organise a trip down there again !!!! _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |

I think teeing up weekend rego/permit may be the way to go for visitors to the region.
Apart from pre-organised club events, Where in QLD can you use your rec rego for a quad? _________________ State governments give us REC rego + area to ride ATVs legaly! State Status: VIC-No (Nazi's) QLD-Yes(no place to ride tho) NT-? NSW-Yes, Stockton. TAS-Yes, Areas for ATVs + ATV rego, Go Tazzie . WA-Yes, 2 top places within 1hr of Perth. ACT-? SA-No |

Rec Rego in QLD allows you to legally ride on all non-formed access roads in the state forests etc . The intention of this rego is for Farmers etc who have to cross rds to get between fields etc.
I have found with having Rec rego when im in the forests , the Rangers leave me alone. The trick is to ensure u dont get caught off the access roads. (where we , of course, never go). QLD Rec Rego also includes a portion of Personal liability insurance. _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |
