Last night on Fuel TV (Foxtel) they showed Round 1 of the 2008 GNCC Quad Racing Series. It wasn't part of the bike racing show it was stand alone with Pro's, 4x4's, womens and even the juniors represented.
It was pretty cool; this round was Florida Round 1 and all the guys were on their new rigs.....Borich on Suzuki, big Can-Am factory team and KTM's in the mix. I think Borich won in front of Bill Ballance.
It seems it will be on Thursday night every week and they are going to show every round.
It's hard to find on the Program Channel but It's under "Moto : All Terain Vehicles".

| Mate at work always gave me "profanity removed" about needing 4 wheels to ride , not any more after he watched it last nite , said man riding quads looks f**** hard. dont expect him to give me "profanity removed" any more lol |

funny stuff, some of my mates say to me why do you ride quads when you cant go everywhere and what not but then i ask them why do they ride motos and they dont give me an answer. |

It was awesome Todd sent me a txt to let me know they were on (thanks mate) Round 1 is always notorius for the Florida sand whoops that track even made the pros look like swappers. Hardcore!!!!

yea i got a bit of "profanity removed" when i went to four wheels, untill a mate went around the mx track and said it was too hard "you get every bump in the track and they are so much heavier"
i just laughed

Tell your two wheeler mates... that quadsport is primarily there to give them something to look up to.
So now i've gotta find a mate with Foxtel next Thursday...

I recorded it on foxtel IQ. So if someone can help to get from the foxtel box to a drive of some kind. I will burn copies for anyone iterested.

you need to record from foxtel iQ to a dvd recorder thats the only way i know of not a dvd player but a dvd recorder hope that helps you out .ive got IQ but not a dvd recorder so im useing my video player to record to

seen it too buy chance and it was awesome even got the missus to sit down for 2 secs and watch it too, good to see they showed most classes and man was it rutted and whooped out

1st borich suzuki
2nd cook honda
3rd balance (after a descent comeback) yamaha
4th kiser ktm
5th mcgill ktm
first can am pulled in 10th

N ... no i dont have foxtel  they dont do foxtel up here in airlie..f.f.s..
good thing ..took me 3 wks to get me interent hooked up...
nobody seems in a rush up here (but me )

Think i found away. I have a dvd cam recorder so i can play fox through the vid in on the cam and record the program . I think it will work.

You will require one of the many Bit Torrent programs available to be able to download the file please just search google to find these.
File is about 300mb in size Video is 20 Mins in length.
If everyone finds that its ok i will do more i am not to sure on the quality so please be patient as i am sure i can improve this i do have both rounds 1 and 2 so they will be next.
