Well I went to the DMCC KAMFARI meeting last night and looks like we have secured the Finnis River flood plains for the 2009 event. I have personally ridden this in the wet and I tell I needed a 10 hp Johnson outboard most of the trip. We are pretty excited at getting this land as everywhere else in Australia your not allowed to ride. I am sure you will see the track from moon after the race
Prize money will be increased and race made a little tuffer ( 5 hour No assistance, cut the track instance disqualification) tyres are capped at 28inch and cc at 850. Most interstates riders stay with club members as there plenty of friendly people who just love muddin.

The DMCC can be a little stubborn at times with dates. |

I would love to come and have a play in the mud Husky.
I've never really been a mudder, but from all the pics i've seen Kamfari looks like one of those pretty crazy things that everyone should make fit somewhere in their lifetime.
Good coverage last year should mean you'll have a big event next year.
It will probably come down to dates for most of us southerners _________________ Can-Am X Team

The dates mean a lot this end as well. Last year Waldo wouldn't do TP300 because it was to close. Will TP300 be at the same Track?
If all goes well I will bring 14 mainly on 4x4s to TP300

Cool.
I'm pretty sure the TP300 will be in the same area (Mildura-ish)
but it might be at a different property.
Mick has not locked the location in yet. _________________ Can-Am X Team

You'll have to go up to Kamfari Yogie.
I think its 42.9km of whoops... but they're under water, which should help soften them a bit.
And you'll be toughened up from TP _________________ Can-Am X Team
