LEN, there's about 10 corners before that jump, why would you be worried, you will never see it |

Only a couple of weeks to go
gone is a few months of half serious organizational horsepower
and it’s almost time for some full bore serious fun
so lets talk-it,,, for we are about to walk-it..crank-it up and race-it..braaap
the 2006 Honda Australian Quad Motocross Championship is nearly upon us..
Honda have been fantastic so far with there support and integral participation with naming rights sponsorship
The Honda Pro Championship Mens and the Honda Pro Championship Womens are the ultimate prizes to be won
All Junior 90 class’s to known as the Heathway’s Junior Red Rider 90’s,,, go the standards, go the modified and go the young tackers, you guys are the stars of tomorrow.
The McKay Drilling Holeshot, $100 bucks a race for the Seniors and all sorts of prizes for the Juniors, that first hairpin corner gunna be a beauty…….with brakin bustin moves, watch-out for the Quad jams there.
The Honda Shop
Eddie Peters and his clan from the Honda Shop in midland has been a long time supporters of Quads in W.A. and they’ve really stepped upto the plate with track obstacle naming, with the Infamous AJS Quarry Jump to be Known as the Honda Shop Quarry Jump, they’ve also taken up the Honda Shop S Bend another technical part of AJS’s circuit.
WesTrac Blasters
A huge thanks to WesTrac Cat, they’re a fantastic Caterpillar service agent through-out Australia and they’ve come onboard for the Junior 200cc 2 st / 300cc 4st.. Blaster class support
Go the Westrac Blasters, these juniors will be kickin the older guys butts before we know it
Suspensions R Us Intermediates
Izzy from Suspensions R Us has jumped at the chance for Intermediate Class support, another long time supporter of Quad racing and specializing in suspension and aftermarket products, also watch out for the AJS track Suspensions R Us Chicane that’s where you’ll need those Elka’s
Berry Sweet Clubman
The Big Ant Yewers loves his quad racing and jumped at the chance to support the backbone of our racing fraternity “the clubman”
.. Ant’s Strawberries will be available on the day and will be giving a much needed energy boost to many a rider..
Berry Sweet will also be the major sponsor that’s backing the W.A. junior State Championship awards and we sincerely thank Ant & his wife for their fantastic contributions to the sport…
96FM Production Class
96FM, yes that would be Perths best music, the local FM radio will be thumpin out the event adverts in the week leading upto the big show..
Healthways Vets
Healthways a government organization that promotes a healthy outdoor sporting lifestyle and a strong anti smoking advocate has offered assistance to the event and the vets class’s. How appropriate is that support??, those vets are all getting Older, some more than others and a healthy fit lifestyle is just what we’re all after.
Prestige Honda Future Star Award
Prestige Honda have nominated an award for a future rising Quad Racing star,,, so the international selectors and talent scouts will be on the look-out
The usual suspects
The Quad racing industry has really got behind this event and a lot of things wouldn’t be possible without the following, support, $$ and participation
Legend Quad Services , watch-out for the Legend Quad Step-up
Southern Quads
Hardiman ATV
Water Corp of W.A.
only a couple of days left to enter
those travelling from afar
please plan a safe trip .... cause there's racin to be done when ya's get here _________________ 007257 where are you???.... bring back the Bling |

Hey Daz ,
I am familia with the track and have visited Joondalup hospital because of that Quarry Jump and because Ant Yewers and The Terry Man will be racing Vet 35-40 plus combined ,I feel I can justify my concerns.
Will you get past the 10 corners and over that quarry jump ?

got quite a few more entries in Len... looking at 9 x 40+ and 8x 35+ at the moment, wait til entries close to see if they are combined....
20 quads get thru that first corner all the time... they do 10 club runs plus state round and opens there.... they also get 40 solos through it... maybe its deceiving on the satelite pic?
I can certainly see some parts that look deceiving.... that longggggggg straight looking section.... thats not a straight its full of jumps !.... and obviously the depth of the quarry cant be shown, always wondered if you get that rollercoaster feel on the way up and down it.
with over 120 entries it looks like a great meet is just around the corner
Hope to meet you all over here in Perth real soon ! _________________ www.waquadmx.com |

think the answers yes
.
much prefer a hairpin first corner with 20 quads than a sweeper 4th gear pinned 60Ks plus with 20 quads IMO
.
and Len,, can't begin to imagine that 60's flashback quarry rock incident
was the big Ant racing that day too..
History will not repeat
we've learned
we're wiser
we hold our lines now
.
As per Oz championship requirements the Helo pad is ready
but there'll be no emergency evac
It's specifically booked for LenP's entrance
.
Helicopter lands 1 minute before riders meeting, right at the start gates
theres no dust, cause it's immaculately prepped and watered
Len steps out of chopper
Honda grid girl under each arm
Honda Body jewellery & piercings
Blingstar Belt buckle
Struts upto the Clerk of his course
.
