| I read the article. they had a huge blitz over the weekend. There was 3 coppers on dirt bikes and they also had a chopper involved. they were cracking down on dirt bike riders in the lake macquarie area. from what ive herd they were around the belmont area and up at the watagans. they said the blitz was a huge success, they handed out about 60 dirt bike infringements as well as finding multiple stolen cars as well as a heap of rubbish dump sites. i wish they would just leave us alone, but that will never happen. stocko is suddenly looking appealing again... |

the paper dont say anything about the beach i ride up there a fair bit and ive only seen them once on the beach they ride in the bush and truck road but ive never been done on the beach so if you stick to the sand up redhead your fine
alot of those infringments they say they gave out also were most likely people on stolen bikes or doing the wrong thing like no helmet rego and wat not, anyway the one time a mate and i saw a paddy wagon near the beach entrance they didnt say a thing about us riding and just watched for a while then asked if wed seen a stolen bike around lately. if you keep clear of peoplpe fishing and kids and "profanity removed" use common sense you be right ive rode out there for years wen i couldnt be bothered driving to stocko and still havent been hasselled

They don't usually go on the sand but its only a matter of time and i was over the beach on Saturday when the bike cops where over there and the little chopper they had with them was pretty low. If they keep using a chopper like that then it won't matter where you are, your gunna get caught. They are not only handing out fines for no helmet or rego which by the way is absolutely useless at Redhead coz your not allowed to ride on the beach over here with or without rego. Like most of you guys have said if you do the right thing by the other people on the beach and the neighbours in the surrounding areas your ok. But it's the fools that have no respect that are gunna stuff if up for all of us. |

| the locals are tops & always give us a heads up. I always try to be as quiet so I don't crap in my own nest. I saw some nob doing doughies in the car park throwing dust up making heaps of noise. Next time I will grab one of those bricks & chuck it at his head. It may knock some sense into them. If he has a brain???? |

Good points made by all, respect the surrounding neighbours, stay away from entries, clubhouses, fishermen, pedestrians, etc, ride safely couldnt be easier, such a top spot to ride has been for many many years it would be a shame if a couple of fools wreck it for us all. Cheers Stu. _________________ 86 atc 250r.
