Once again another fabulous trail ride put on by Ray and his team. Thanks to the town of woodenbong for there hospitality and the great food that they cook for everyone. Saturdays 70 km was by far the best marked trail ever!!! From 5th gear flat out open paddocks to rainforest and lantana tunnels this ride had everything. To be able to ride with fellow quad riders on your own trail without having to deal with kamakazi two wheelers trying to obliterate all before them is a pleasure in itself. The festivites on saturday night had you on the edge of your seat with guys on the trial bikes doing there best to damage themselves and the fire works being a highlight.Sundays ride was dusty having to ride on the left overs of the two wheelers ; they swap the trails for sunday. Still the up hill sections of the plantation with foot deep bulldust was great fun to negotiate. All in all a sensational weekend and now can't wait for the next ride[urbanville in November]. thanks scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

Yeah Scotty I could'nt have put it better myself The first day's loop was the highlight for me, except for kissing a tree on the second loop On the down-side I hope the two bike riders that took the chopper ride home are alright |

Hey Rossco, but on the up side ; Jed was rapped to see the helicopter take off so close to us!!!!! Saw plenty of two wheel riders limping and looking pretty sore and sorry but all the quad riders were just stuffed from having so much fun.I have a mate about to buy his first quad and he has his own business , can't afford to get hurt, and was concerned how safe quad riding is.I related the weekend's events to him and also told him about not having to worry about balance like a two wheeler and now he can't wait to come riding. He's after a 700 raptor !!! I posted in the wanted section so if you know anyone steer them my way.Prokiwi's would have been perfect but he sold it . thanks scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |
