Roma r havin a club day this sunday... would be good to c a few more make it, i no the usualls will be there postie n kel n myself , need to get the numbers up, for anyone that hasent been to the raoma track it is very enjoyable with easy flowin jumps, a real quad friendly track, n the guys out at roma love havin the quads there too ,, so hope to c u there on sunday.....

10 sounds about right , should be some good close battles to mix it up . the track is nice and fast , high berms , good mix of step ups/downs, doubles and t/tops and a mild/wild set of woopdy doos

we were expecting all the regulars + Cam +1, though we just checked the BOM Radar. It looks like Vaughn Might have a bit of rain up in the top country, so he might not get out.
The track will be soaking up the moisture though ,

Hey Matt , If your coming from Springsure , go straight through the
* traffic lights* and take the next left east towards Brisbane (Warrego Highway) ,
head about 3-5 kms out to the top of the hill until you see a turnoff to Surat on your right heading south, follow 1 km and take the first road on your left to Ironbark raceway , then follow the road till end .
Most of the quads park down the far end of the pits , plenty of room to manouvre, see you there |

well looks like i might hav to,, goin to be a good feild of quads there, should cater for some tough racing , wit u on ya home track, the upcomin pro from rocky comin over , mr marshall an lighty i don't think u could keep me away..... it will be a well earnt win to who eva gets it....might bring me girls out too, just to show em off to u all

It sounds like it will be a top day of racing. Just a little confused with your comment Ace. Who is this pro from rocky??? I dont think that young fella is anywhere near being a pro. Anyway, what time does scrutineering start. We are spending sat night at the pub, so if anyone else is camping in town give us a call and we can catch up. That excludes you ACE!!!! you'll get me drunk hahaha

dam i need to get a little head start somehow,, ya big girl haha...n i think u might no the upcoming pro mr pokie  practise starts at 9 scrut. is at about 8 30, theres no rush cam i got out hear at 8 20 one race day n no one was there yet n the gates where locked it's pretty casual

Thanx to Jade & Rachel Skuse @Roma 4X4 and bikes who sponsored a most highly commended , Roma & District mx club day which provided fantastic conditions for the last race meet for the year.
The competition came from far & wide , for a taste of local dust , with
no breeze to blow it away , all were extra determined to taste the clean air at the point & if there were more races they might have .
Spectators were commenting , it was a thrill to watch with how tight the action was , I am not sure if they seen from there vantage point but i am told there is some good footage of Ace performing quad Gymnastics over the step up ,

| Hey Postie, finally got home safe and sound....was a long trip home i tell ya!!!! There are big hopes for that club/track with plenty of potential pushing it forward. With that on board ill be keen to head out again in the near future to support the roma racing scene. note: what happened with the spelling on my last name...??? GREAT DAY had by all with know one getting hurt except ACES ego hahaha good work guys!!! |

no ego damage thanks cam, n next time i'll be aware wen ya bring a new rider to the feild to gang up on me n push me over burms just so u can go by i'm startin to work u out POKIE.... but with that, i had ...well a different days racing n i'm putting it down to a lack of fitness, n i'm stickin to it haha...i'd also like to thank all the guys n girl that showed for an awesome day of clean competitive racing, i had a ball,, and i'd like to give a special mention to vaughn,,, that guy is a dark horse n fast i think he'll be one to look out for next year....n thanks to postie n kel, u guys hav been great this year, keepin me in the loop of things all year ....n kel for looking after my easter troghy
