Whos going this year?
I have been hearing alot of stories floating around that there is going to be alot of fast quads there this year!
I am trying to build a rocket myself, but as usual things are taking alot longer than expected, may be riding the stocker yet!
So, whos goin and what ya ridin?

the race is held at grasstree beach, which is just north of Sarina, on Sunday the 12th of October.

it is a great day, last year over 4000 people lined the beach to watch all the crazy cats racing.
ADB magazine did an article on the race last year or the year before, ill have to see if i can find it.

184 riders nomnated for this years Grasstree Beach Races.
This included 32 quad riders. The Quad classes were equal to the biggest field of 2 wheelers on the day.
Competition in the modified class was so close that there was only 3 points seperating 1st to 3rd.
Standard Quad class results:
1st - Greg Brooks
2nd - Luke Morres
3rd - Jenna Heidke
Modified Quad class results:
1st - Greg Brooks
2nd - Glenn Bereicua
3rd - Joe Gauci

Awesome roll up of quads.
A huge thank you to Dale & Tolie from Roots Racing for the awesome machine they built me. 
Also a big thank you for travelling up to check out the event and their support throughout the day.
I look forward to seeing Dale & Tolie up here next year with their Turbo Quads.
