| new to the atv sport. wondering if anyone knows any dirt tracks local to the Brisbane area (don't know if it's called dirt track but i'm after a track like moto cross but no jumps).... thanks |

youve got north brisbane at nudgee, hatchers on the gold coast and special events held yearly like king of the mountain, and the wide bay titles at maryborough.
check out the qld club for which i am the secretary, will help you in anyway i can.

Are ou after actual tracks? so you can race others. 
If your more into nice wide bush tracks -smooth pine forests- then give me a bell and you can hook up with me and the gold coast boys.. we know some real nice places 
and are always looking 4 more people to ride with..
also will be going to black duck in 2 weekends if ou want to come..

My quad might be finished by then. 
Dirt track.........has no jumps how can it be fun 
nah its good but i dont think the dirt track scene is all that crash bang hot in QLD.

| hi mate there a good dirt track at the north brissy jrs club at nudgee im also keen 2 race my quad on dt. but NO1 else was showin up 4 the club days!!!! |

thanks all.. was wanting to know when the next social day is on so i can have a look at what goes on and how the quads race, never seen it happen before.
will come and have a look at the king of the mountain...
i have got a new 06 banshee with fmf fattys- do you think this bike would be okay for flat tracks??? Do i need anything else to ride on club days (different tyres, licence, rego, nerfs, etc..)?
at the moment i have just been riding at a track at Pimpama and the Logan Village pine forest.. Might have a look at Mount Mee on Sunday??

Usually when we are all going to Black Duck for a social day someone will make a post in the QLD section and those who are coming will put there hands up and we all see eachother out there.
oh yeh and when we make posts DC666 tries to take the piss out of everyone.

| Is it cool if i tag along? not 2 film, 2 ride that is, look'n 4 more places 2 get out besides local national parks, don't get a great deal of ride time dur'n film'n so anything just 2 get out and have a bit of time off and ride is what i'm long'n 4 at the moment and don't worry i'm not slooooowww! but i'll b at Reedy this weekend......... |

Bring your camera if you want (i do but am still to actually use it) :  .
we try to go riding every 2 weeks or so ..
just give me a holler and well hook up..

yeh i have been to the pine forest a few times.. last time i went there i took my girlfriend with her quad and got busted by the rangers... oops. it would be awesome to go riding with other quads. thanks for your offer and i will definately take you up on it.
Where i go riding at pimpama is is near the go cart track that's on the service road to the M1 heading south.

Thanx for the offer but the quad still isnt back together and I got exams coming up soon. These quad parts are around the place the bike shop just didnt order them when they were meant to. Got some of the parts now but still have to get a rear sprocket and some little bits for the front end. I want to ride sooooooooooooooo bad. lol
Dad should be coming home not next weekend but the one after. (I think I brought it up in another thread) so im shure we will be going to black duck then.
