you will be able to get a key cut from the key no. or if that isn't available a locksmith can cut one from the barrel itself. No hassle.

Or you could just remove it. All you have to do is join the 2 wires.

Why hasn't it got a key? I'd be checking if it's not stolen if I was you

Anyone have any idea on how much to pay for an 04 banshee that needs new tyres and i would probably say an engine rebuild, the plastics are'nt that great either.

best thing to do is ring your local dealer ( thAt doesnt know you Laughing )
just say your enquiring about buying a 04 banshee private and would like to kkow ruffly what the market value of one is..they dont like giving out that info..
just so we dont know how much there ripping you off buy Wink
that way you got a ruff idea what it xhould be worth..

new tyres say $440 if you get kenda klaws all round from hardiman Razz
rebuild will cost about $1000 depending onwho you know and whats got 2 be done 2 it.
plastics aint cheap,i'd go second hand try e-bay or even here..

my 02 std had a retail of $3500 - 4000 depending on condition..

i bought it for $3600 with porting, single carb, jetting, fmf fatty's,cool head, reeds, itp tyres- the list is huge... Razz Laughing got a good deal

hope this helps

I took the barrel off my blaster. Actually i took off all the unnessisary crap like lights & switch block too. Stripped it back to the bare minimum.
I just had the kicker to start it and the kill switch to stop it.
Nice, neat & simple.

Plastics are pricey to replace regardless of whether they are OEM or aftermarket. How bad are they? Can they not be saved with a bit of cut&polish and a full-coverage graphics kit? You can even get cracks plastic-welded too and all-up it will still be half the cost of replacements.

Also keep in mind that Banshees are now in their final year of production so aftermarket part options will be on the decrease in years to come. Might be worth searching for the best quality specimen rather than cheapest price (just my 2 cents).
