Me and a mate went riding at Johnson rd today and were ticketed for parking out front on the side of the road, some brisbane ranger informed me that we could no longer ride there as we would wreck the bush there, When i pointed out to him that the other side of the highway had lost all the bush to development he said that development was necessary and bikes would do much more perminate damage to the privately owned bush we were riding in.

Darren , Johnstone Rd has had some issues lately , most recently with a very expensive boat being burnt out there that was stolen on the Gold coast last week. Police and Rangers have been increasing their patrols there.
Would be more appropiate to park well off the road in any of these spots and then you would be more likely left alone.
The rangers out there are nice guys, they dont usually have a problem , and cant actually give you a ticket if you are parked on a formed access rd.
Did you have rec rego also ??
You and Barb should come up to Peachetser some time.
I think Rossco and I are going to go up there again soon. Ill let you know.

Yeh i only put this up as a warning there was a few people parked in the bush that got told to move on too  , Will be riding with you guys again soon as i have been doing lots of hours at work and haven't really been out , Johnson rd was my quick ride spot till now

Nah mate no riding down here they closed all the places we used to go about 2 years ago that is why i headed out of area to ride
