Righto everyone here is the latest fromm the QQRA meeting held in gatton on wednesday night....... I took it upon myself to represent "ALL" of QLD quad riders and where getting a whole new committy a fresh make over if u like....in short we are changing the look of the club from wat people see as a mx club to a scocial club catering more for families and scocial riders....and the first thing i have organised for this new club is a fun ride weekend at manar park on the 15th and 16th of november, so in order to make a club that will cater for all quad riders we would like to see as many as possible show up for this weekend, you dont need to be a member or even hav to join, although this weekend will be the AGM (annual general meating) for the QQRA we want this to simpily be a fun weekend and for all to hear in which direction the club is heading and also to voice your oppinions.

There will be discounts on park and camping fees for the weekend , also the QQRA are putting on a roast dinner sat night for all club members will eat free and there will be only a small fee for everyone else...this weekend is about giving back to the members and having an inexpensive weekend of riding , there will also be some games for the kids.........

I will post more details like costs and activities when they come to hand.....so hope to see all of you Quad riders and if your friends ride 2 wheelers they are more then welcome to come along for the weekend... Any inquieries can be directed straight to me by pm or phone 0438912989

Hey Ace, put me down for 2 spots. Always keen to go to manar especially with a good crew to ride with.[roast is much better than baked beans on toast for dinner]. Congrates on what you've done. Social gatherings/rides is the basis of all good clubs. Before you know it the words "social gathering" is replaced with "Jamboree"[ to coin an American term]. Next thing there are people travelling from everywhere to be apart of not just the riding but the social aspect of quads. " Build it and they will come." Thanks scotty.

it has been brought to my attention that there is a trail ride on down at Urbanville let me no if this affects to many people , if it does we can look at changing to the weekend after,so if i dont hear from anyone it will continue to be on the 15th n 16th

righto just got of the phone to caroll at manar. all riders get 25% off riding fees an there camping is free with each days riding, non riders pay $5 dollars a night, i couldnt budge them on the cabins sorry so they are as follows,

cabin that sleeps 4 (1 double 2 singles) $66/night, there are 4 of these
cabin that sleeps 5 (1 double 3 singles) $66/night, there are 2 of these
shearers quarters sleep 7 (all singles) $77/night, only 1 of
house sleeps 10 $100/night
*these do not include riding fees*

Riders fees sre as follows

seniors $24.75/day
high school $16.50/day
primary school $12
under 5 free
*these prices include unpowered camping sites, powered sites will be an extra $5 a stay (note this $5 fee will be for the whole weekend not a day rate...)


They are asking for a 25% depposite on 30 riders that is non refundable so we need to no numbers asap. please the date is still set for the 15th/16th of november and this shouldn't change, but if we are not getting the numbers this date might hav to be re-thought.

well i have had a few inquieries on the weekend and it is not good for a bunch of people so we are pushin it back a weekend to the 22nd/23rd of november, this should draw about another 30 odd quads if not more... so hope u can all make it, lookin forward to seeing u all there.....

from changing this date we dont seem to be getting anymore of you trail riding people involved ,we would like to see as many of you as possable make it out there, so let me no if we can do anything else to help make ur discision
