This may have been asked before somewhere those billet power tips on ebay
has anyone fitted one before to their ag quad,are they any good or just a gimmick.

HI whitey , i fitted one to my 05 grizzly , no real power increased but looks better and sounds better.

got it on ebay out of the states for 62 bucks including shipping

Thanks Grizzly, they do look good theory behind it makes sense but couldn't imagine a great power gain from it.

Hi whitey ,, the reason i bought it was because the oem tip was stuffed and replacement was around $130.00 for a oem one ,, yeah so i got the billett one and a slab of beer with the savings

I ordered one from 2R racing. But yeah no real power gain although i have added extra fuel through the Pod, its up around 70 intead of the factory 0 due to the increased flow of the tip. I have found a bit more grunt through the mid to top end range, most of it louder now and has a nice crack when you open throttle at about 50k's/hr.
i like it, 60 bucks well spent i reckon.
