Hi, just wondering who's going to the "12 mile" ride at Wyaralong near Beaudesert on the saturday 20th September. For those who are interested all the info is on www.austaliandikebikeadventures.com.au .I'll be going there on my yellow raptor with my son on his trx400.Hope to see plenty of riders there. Thanks Scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

| Hey Gazman all quads have to be Conditionaly Registrated. It's quiet easy just go to www.transport.qld.gov.au/Home/Registration/conditional_registration/ |

| Hey Gazman I also forgot to add that you also have to have CTP insurance, which you'll have to get before the Department Of Transport will hand over the plate. |

You guys should really try and support this ride , it would be good to see the quads put on a good turnout at a speciality event just for them. It might make Ray think about doing more regular events just for quads.
Here's your chance. _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |

Yep , when it gets here , approx 2 mths apparently .........
which means they have no idea, BRP are saying they have to sell a few more of the 08 before i can have an 09
Ill give them two mths then ill put one in my next container of skis coming over . Either way i hope to be riding it by Xmas .
In the meantime ive got myself an old slug to keep me mobile. _________________ It's time too ride !!!!!!! |

i forgot what it is like dealing with dept of transport!! thanks for the tip rosco, have the paperwork in my hot little hand!! As I only want to do this once, can you help me out with the trick questions?
No.7 Purpose of use -private.....?
No.8 Rego category - CRLA(limited acess) CRZA(zone acess) CRUA(unresticted acess)
I don't want to stuff this up and have to go back again!!
What i am trying to find out is, what is the best answer I should give?
Also, some aprox on total cost (incl ins.)as they were not helpful at all.
with this done and all the planets line up I wil be there!

Yeah that's fine Gazman. your use is limited acess & it will be for private use In regards to the cost that all depends on your insurer, I went through Suncorp and found them to be quiet helpful. They had my insurance certificate done up there & then. The DPT will want to site the certificate before handing over the plate. Best of luck |

Hey Pro just thought I'd ring the DPT to find out weather or not I could have got the Outty insured through them, and yeah you were right When I was talking to the chick she said that Conditional Rego is the only acception when it comes to CTP. They are linked to all the insurance providers. I wish I would have known that before I did mine |

sorry guys Braydan and i are not Coming ---- $88 for a days riding don’t float my boat
Plus Braydan cant ride on the seniors track (sh!t the kid rides better than me)
Poor kid – Cant race his quad cos he is too young
Cant ride with adults on trails and has to pay $33 to ride on trails I would drive the crewman on
This sport is a fu*king joke
I think we will head to manar for the school holidays (atleast we can ride together)
Any ways have a good one everyone

Sorry to hear you aren't coming . I'll fly the flag for the yellow raptors. We are heading out to manar on the Thursday the 25th for four days. My young bloke [Jed;11yrs old] is keen to ride with some others on quads . All of his other mates are on 2 wheelers. He's riding a trx400ex. Be great if you could make it out there. thanks scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

How good was the ride ?????? A little bit dusty, but other than that great tracks. The odd black snake and lizard to dodge or hit!! Plenty of fast sections as well as tighter technical . A tad warm in the sun though!! A small but good crew of riders mainly raptor 700's, 4x4 can-ams, and mixture of trx400 ,kfx400/700 and few others thrown in. Quad riders need to get behind these type of organised rides as they help to promote the sport as well as giving riders a great day of riding. Quad only days like today give us a chance to meet other riders as well as have the tracks to ourselves. [the 2 wheelers are on tomorrow].Well done to Ray and his crew for putting on a great event!! We'll being doing plenty more of your events. 10/10. Thanks scotty and jed. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |

Agree to above , shame a few more quad riders dont turn up to these events.
Well organised , good trails and great facilities.
Will be at the next one for sure.
Thanks to Ross , Scott and Jed for a good ride team.
Cheers

Thanks to you both [ ross & aaron] we had a great day. After you guys left it got even hotter.[temperature] . We had a few more laps and jed had a run on the raptor which made him go harder once he got back on his bike. Both ran over a large black snake[5 feet] after crossing that wet creek crossing. As we came up the hill he was sunning himself on the rocks; he took off and launched straight under my front wheel. It flicked out from my back wheel and landed right in jed's way . He gased it and hoped for the best. I slowed down to check and jed passed me clicking into 4th and wasn't stopping for anything. Printed off the woodenbong forms and will send them off this week. The manar weekend has been put back to the weekend of 22-23 november ; weekend after urbanville. Jed and I will be going to manar hope you guys can make it! thanks scotty. _________________ 06 700 raptor 50th anniversary |
