Gents,

i am from the states, and i just wanted to get the word out, i own an 08 LTR 450, and purchased a Blingstar Victory Bumper...one problem, it didn't fit, and had all of the signs of being chinese... well i got it confirmed...

Blingstar does not make any of their own products, they make 1, and outsource to china.. if you are having any problems with your crappy blingstar products, call them and complain.. i doubt it will get you anywhere, as i was basically told by their customer service to get bent.. which is why i am posting here, they do not have any care for their own countrymen and that they are giving us crappy products, they are too worried about selling crap around the world...

so to wrap up... BLINGSTAR=CHINESE CRAP...

I heard the other day that the two blokes behind blingstar (ones the designer the other has the money) are going there seperate ways, so that may be the end of bling star. Might be just a rumour!

my blingstar nerfs and heels fit, however i need to screw in the ends at the top of the heels because the stock holes dont line up,its no real big deal, im happy with the overall quality and strength of them, and i rekon they look sweet aswell.

Unfortunately i think it is a sign of the times.I worked at a Nissan dealership a few years ago and the D22 cab chassis Navaras were built in japan and thailand .THe Tiawonese one's used a few diferent parts and had a few issues but the onl;y way to reconise the difference was to to look at the VIN no.The jap ones had JN in the vin but the crap ones had tw i think
their n16 pulsar hatch was made in England
Talk about dodgy but the standard N16 sedasn was a great vehicle.

sorry, let me re phrase just the fit issue. the bumper mounting bracket was bent, and the powdercoat was peeling off. it was wrinkle finish, and probably the worst finish i have ever seen period.

some parts might fit, but that's because every bike is different, such is life. i just needed to release the word that i have dealt with the crappy side of that company.

i have not heard anything about a split up, but it wouldn't be a surprise. plus whoever their customer service person was seemed to not care one bit that i had issues, and was not willing to do anything about it.

Customer service and product quality are keys to business... and with crap on both ends i don't blame anyone for not wanting to work there...

customer service and product quality are optional extras at additional cost these days.

DuraBreak..... I don't know whats wrong with them. I think a well known honda rider broke one not that long ago and swore never to use another.
