my problem is this
the little red light next to the neutral light and fuel light is flashing after i give it a bit before anyone says its over heating ive checked the radiator pressure tested no leaks yet i seem to be loosing coolant checked the oil perfect colour my sensors seem to be fine and the radiator fan is working properly
during ridding in the bush and at the dunes after about half hour of ridding the light starts to flash the bike still runs fine and starts fine
but i noticed if i accelerate and go faster for a minute it stops flashing as soon as i slow down in say third gear itll start flashing again
any help would be apperciated
cheers

Is it down on power? How many hours has the motor done?

I'd be checking the fuel filter, inside the metal bowl connected to the fuel tank, the fuel tap comes out the side of it. These can block up, bike runs lean, gets hot.

Also check the main plug on the ECU, under the front plastics, these can come loose causing problems.

LTR's have a rep for blowing a bit of coolant as they do tend to get hot easily. as azza said I'd be checking the tea bag but if it's doing it consistantly after that then maybe you fuel map is up the "profanity removed".

feel free to give us a call on 0419 001 747 if you've got any questions
